CHESTEE INC. ANNOUNCES PLANS TO CLOSE ALL DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER BUSINESS OPERATIONS
The Global Sports Bra Brand that Patented its Innovative, Protective Technology for Athletes Launches a Final Closing Sale Today: Also Chestee’s 10 Year Anniversary
March 11, 2024 - (BOYNTON BEACH, FL) - Today, Chestee, Inc. (aka “The Chestee”) announced it will be shutting down its Direct-to-Consumer operations, coinciding with its closing sale. This is part of a company restructuring effort focused on maximizing its Licensing Agreements for Chestee’s Patented Technology, and streamlining exclusive wholesale partnerships.
The South Florida-based company will offer all of its current remaining U.S. inventory for purchase at a discounted rate, one final time during Chestee’s Celebratory “Closing Sale” via its website: www.TheChestee.com. This closing sale goes live today, Monday, March 11, 2024, coinciding with the brand’s 10 Year Anniversary, and will extend through March 21, 2024 (Ten Days for Ten Years).
“The decision to shut down direct-to-consumer operations has been one of the most important and difficult decisions I’ve made - not just in my career, but my life. I’m beyond proud of our team for what we’ve been able to build, innovate, and create together over the past decade,” said Chestee Founder and CEO Nicole Biscuiti. “Out of my tiny apartment of humble beginnings, we assembled and scaled a global organization that has been successful in changing both the way athletes train and how they select garments for their training. We patented that technology to fully harness the power and appeal of both fashion and function, and in doing so, cultivated a movement and brand that remained at the heart of the fitness community for 10 years.”
The popular “Crossfit-born” brand designed by and for athletes is internationally acclaimed for its patented technology that provides built-in collarbone protection against bruising and discomfort from barbell impact. The most widely-used Chestee product is its patented Sports Bra, of which the company has designed and produced more than 30 styles across 250+ SKU’s, distributed to 72 countries.
The future of Chestee is geared toward partnering with retail brands interested in expanding their position within the activewear/intimates space. The company’s Utility and Design patents, as well as existing client base, makes Biscuiti and her brand an ideal partner to add to any athletic garment portfolio.
“Our end-game has always been to facilitate an acquisition that made sense and felt right. Offering our Patents for purchase provides us with the flexibility to select the right partner for the future without any outside pressure, influence or timeframe restraints,” Biscuiti said. “The lifetime of friendships, community support and core memories gained over the past 10 years has been the driving force that kept me and my team excited, and we’re ready for the next chapter.”

ABOUT THE CHESTEE
Founded in South Florida on March 11, 2014 by athlete and entrepreneur, Nicole Biscuiti, The Chestee was the first brand to innovate the Sports Bra for athletes who weight-train: specifically with the use of barbells. Nicole’s brother, (U.S. Marine Corps Warrant Officer) Scott M. Biscuiti joined the company in 2017 to take over operations - while serving on Active Duty and managing numerous deployments throughout his career. The Sister-Brother team grew the company from Nicole’s 400-square-foot apartment, to the spare bedroom in their mom’s house, and eventually to a shared 6,000-square-foot warehouse, shipping an average of 550 orders per month.
